Finding a great place to stay at in Pedasi won’t be a problem for anyone. Especially, if you’re willing to spend a little more than expected for a decent room and customer service. The Pedasi Panama Hotel is quite small, but considered to be one the best hotels in Pedasi.

Don’t expect anything too fancy at the Pedasi Panama Hotel. It was constructed to house enough visitors in a comfortable and humble manner, that’s it. You don’t want to be stuck in a hotel when there’s a vast and gorgeous beach out there, waiting for you to dive into her. Nevertheless, you might want to enjoy the soft beds and nice room layout the hotel has to offer. The room service at this place surprisingly met my full expectations and the employees are just filled with life and good will. I had a chance to meet a lot of these people and apparently the hotel likes treating their employee’s properly, encouraging them to treat their visitors even better. Great way of doing business if you ask me.
As I mentioned earlier, don’t expect the fanciest hotel in Panama. It’s a great place, but you might just want to sleep, take a short nap and enjoy the beach afterwards like it should be. There’s nothing better than coming back from a nice trip at the beach and not having to worry about bad customer service and horrible beds. The Pedasi Panama Hotel has so much to offer and you won’t regret it.

Pedasi has to be one of the most relaxing and peaceful towns I’ve ever visited. The town radiates with the spirit of the sea and the atmosphere just feels glorious. I love the fact that the locals are so gracious to tourists and most of all, to each other. That is admirable in every sense. The thoughts of buying a small house in Pedasi haunts me everyday and it will until I finally buy one. This place is just incredibly peaceful.

A lot of art and goods are sold on the streets thanks to the locals. Watch out for some of the pricey vendors, you might able to convince them into lowering the price a little.
The Pedasi Panama hotel is the best one in the town, so you’re going to need a little luck to get a spot there. There’s a variety of lodging options for you to choose from, so don’t worry about not having a place to stay. You won’t find many convenience stores out there, so when you get to one, buy everything you’re going to need for the rest of the day. You don’t do want to go back and forth needlessly.

Don’t expect too much partying. It is a small town that closes its streets at 9 PM. If you want to party all night, take it over to the beach and watch the sunrise with the rest of your friends. Aside from that, you can do both partying and relaxing. Either way, Pedasi is a great place to take it easy for a while.

This is where Thee Hollywood stars are now investing, Pedasi Panama
Pedasi Panama is a paradise for light tackle fishermen and for Yellowfin Tuna fishing. For light tackle fishermen Pedasi Panama is a paradise. Costa Rica was like this in the 80’s. This is an example of controlled development and growth and thanks to savvy investors and developers Thee natural beauty has been preserved.
The famous French architect Gilles Saint-Gilles lives here, he picked Pedasi Panama as it reminded him of Tuscany in Thee wet season and Africa in the dry season. The Azueros project pays tribute to the talent if Mr. Saint-Gille who has been creating architecture master pieces around the world for the last 40 years. His private homes and palaces are now stuff of legend, he also has created master pieces in North America, Thee Middle East, Europe and Asia.
The Azueros project, designed by Gilles Saint-Gilles in Pedasi Panama is one of the most upscale projects in Panama, Thee area in the past was largely undervalued but now this is quickly changing. The property values for raw land are still $12 to $25 a sqm ($1.12 to $2.33 a sqft), compared to Thee Guanacaste region in Costa Rica where they are now well over $150 a sqm ($13.95 a sqft). Pedasí, a quiet, tucked-away corner of rural Panama, is quickly making its way to the forefront of the country’s swelling tourism and development. With its pastoral charm, charming local culture, and a diversity of activities to suit the adventurous and leisurely alike, Pedasí (located on the tip of the Azuero peninsula, in the Los Santos province) is the name on everyone’s lips.
Just four hours from Panama City and its Miami-modern glitter of condo towers, shopping and international trade, Pedasí of is the antithesis of big-city bustle. The road is impeccably smooth as you head down the peninsula, extending in gentle rises and falls. There is little to no traffic on approach to Pedasí, except for the occasional groups of cattle being herded by local vaqueros (cowboys) on horseback. Now, in the rainy season, the hills are an incredible emerald green, and the fields are dotted with grazing horses and cows, newly fat from the rain-fed grasses. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s been rumored for at least three years that a new “international airport” was going to built in Pedasi, Panama. The current airstrip is on a private farm and has been sold. As part of the transaction, the purchasers of the old airstrip, Pinnacle Properties, agreed with the government to finance and facilitate the construction of a new strip. Currently a 1.2 kilometer road is being cut from behind the school in Pedasi out into the surrounding pasture where a 1,000 meter strip will be laid (hardly long enough to be international).
The time line for the entire project which includes: the remainder of cutting of the road (almost complete); paving; the construction of the strip; and the placing of electricity is 8 months according to the engineers in charge. The implications of this project, besides the fact that I will have a new road and much desired electricity at my house, is the ability for lager charter flights to land in Pedasi. It is rumored that a consortium of international investors are working to extend the runway by another few hundred meters to enable the landing and takeoff of small business jets. Ocean Legacy , a real estate company dedicated to the growth of Panama’s Peninsula, is pleased to announce that Panama has become the top Central American destination for North American retirees seeking a quality lifestyle at a fraction of the cost. According to a recent NPR broadcast, “An increasing number of retiring ‘Baby Boomers’ are moving to Central America in search of inexpensive property and easy living in a tropical paradise…Panama…(is) now home to thousands of American retirees.”
With over 10,000 planned homes under construction, 60 master planned communities and over 100 high rise buildings in construction or approved for construction, Panama is in the stages of its largest real estate market growth in the history of the country.
In the 1980´s Costa Rica was an unpopular outpost, known only to backpackers. But as result of Govt. efforts and major structural changes to the country to improve its tourism market, the country changed forever. Now, Costa Rica is expensive and no longer a bargain or “buyers” market. A house in San Jose that was purchased in 1987 for $25,000 now goes for $200,000. It only takes common sense to see what the future holds for Panama.
The town of Pedasi in Panama is on the Azuero Peninsula. It is a small coastal fishing village nestled on green rolling hills that resemble the Tuscan region of Italy. The coastal roads of Pedasi wind around beautiful cliffs where you can see tide pools, beaches and a traditional Spanish hacienda every so often. The dramatic shores and the fame it has for its virgin fishing grounds have brought a select crowd of investors to this small fishing village, among them an extensive Hollywood crowd that have purchased land and houses in Pedasi.
“It’s not every day that you have the chance to buy a piece of oceanfront land on a picturesque landscape with a rich ecosystem and phenomenal fishing grounds for 50% less than the bank evaluation,” said Rod Robertson, Principal in Briggs Capital, a Boston based investment bank. “Our clients have made significant returns in short periods of time on their land investments in Panama, Ocean Legacy has made purchasing land in Pedasi an easy, safe, seamless process and of course highly lucrative.”
